- Icehole [Alt-Fic] by Keira Dellacroix
I'm not a big thriller fan but this story was just incredible. A SciFi
thriller set in the icecap of Antartica where a team of scientists and military are
attempting to uncover an artifact buried deep beneath the polar ice. What happens is the
awakening of a monster that threatens them all. I would seriously love to read the sequel
to this! EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT! BRAVO! Kiera on yet another story that I just couldn't put
down (gotta love the ebook) :)
- Dress Blues
[Alt-Fic] by Goesome
The events of September 11,2001 has touched everyone who has a heart.
Goesome has written a beautiful story against the backdrop of 9/11 that is sad but a
testament to grit and determination of those left behind.
A moving story that will bring a tear to the eye. Well written and a story that I'm
sure was repeated in the aftermath of that horrible day by those loved ones left behind.
- Engravings
of Wraith [Alt-Fic] by Kiera Dellacroix
Very few stories have grabbed me by the first couple of paragraphs and didn't let go until
the end. This was one of them. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this novel and I'm thrilled it
will be released soon by Fortitude Press. Engravings of Wraith is the story of Bailey
Cameron, a woman with many secrets, lethal skills and an innocent in matters of the heart
until Piper enters her world. All through Bailey's life she had been manipulated into
doing the will of others and now she takes back control of her life and her destiny. It's
an extraordinary story by a very talented writer.
- Letter to America
[Alt-fic] by Emily Duncan
This isn't a story that is easy to read. For many years we have been presented with
images of bloodshed from the Middle East. Who is to blame and why is not the main issue.
The issue is how this conflict affects humans to their very core. This is a short story
based on a letter from a Palastenian woman to a friend in America. It will move you to
tears. Excellently written by Emily.
- Passion's Bright Fury [Alt-Fic] by
Radclyffe
Another superb piece of storytelling by Radclyffe. Saxon
Sinclair, the broodingly secretive Chief of Trauma at a busy Manhattan hospital is less
than pleased to learn that her new resident is going to be the subject of a documentary
film. The arrival of Jude Castle, a fiery independent filmmaker, soon sets sparks flying
as the two driven women clash both personally and professionally. On the battleground
between life and death, passion strikes without warning. I've never been disappointed with
Radclyffe's work and this latest novel just proves the wonderful talent this writer
possesses.
